Listening Booth presents intimate solo recitals for one audience member at a time. Conceived in 2012, the project was first presented at Sappyfest in Sackville, New Brunswick. The Agassiz Chamber Music Festival presented Listening Booth in June 2017. From Monday, June 12 through Friday, June 16th, I performed four recitals per day in the fantastic space of Lisa Kehler Art & Projects (171 McDermot) in Winnipeg's Exchange District, with a few extra slots added on the final day to accommodate more audience interest. The concert program featured contemporary repertoire by Canadian and American composers Emily Doolittle, Michael Oesterle, Andrew Norman and Maria Cherwick.
